The Autumn Festivals: Halloween

We had a lovely Halloween.

The Ninja suit got worn for days before the actual holiday.  Once he found it in the dress-up bin, that's what he was determined to be... no matter that we couldn't find the headwear.

Miniature ponies at the Pumpkin Fest were the best for horse-loving little girls.

And their big brothers.

"Dress up the scarecrow".  The main reason I took this picture was because it shows a great example of rural Pennsylvania architecture.  There are hundreds of houses in this same style in our area.

The only thing we missed was being able to pick our own pumpkins.

Our yard.

Carving Time.  (Unfortunately, Dallin's pumpkin was involved in an accident of sorts, hence it is not in the picture.)

Ready to trick-or-treat.

Sariah made her own costume with the help of a woman in our church congregation.

Sick of picture taking.

We've entered a new phase of parenting--the teenage years.  Dallin spent the day trick or treating with a friend.  But the younger set still had fun with mom and dad.
