First Story:  The Fisherman and His Wife

Can you tell which letter was hidden in our chalk board drawing?  Can you tell we had some "help" with our chalk board drawing?  (Thanks, Preston...)

We made beeswax fish to act out the story.

F is for flounder and fisherman.

Second Story:  The White Snake

(If you look closely, the door to the dwarves cottage also forms a letter.)

This was a painting story from Marsha Johnson's first grade painting e-book (www.magicofwaldorf.com) about how right after sunrise the sky is different shades of blue, darker in some places and lighter in others.  This was an exercise to practice varying the intensity of the same color.  Sariah's on top, Mom's on bottom.
