I am a real mother

I stay in my pajamas until noon... on a good day.

Baby or not, I have work to do.  Thank goodness for slings and sweet big sisters!

My hair hasn't exactly been combed on a regular basis lately.  But at least my baby has food to eat.

Makeup?  What's that?

I'm tired more often than I'm not tired...

Yet I can't take my eyes off of my little guy.

Sometimes I can hardly stay awake...

Yet what could be better than sleeping with this little sweetie nestled on my neck?

After three kids, you'd think I'd be able to master the art of burping... but I can't.
Good thing that's not a qualification for motherhood!  Good thing that the only things required to be a real mother are a willingness to sacrifice and a willingness to love, and I can do both of those things abundantly!

I love these pictures- I got all teary-eyed looking at them. You are a fantastic mom, and I'm so happy for you and your new little man. He's absolutely adorable, by the way.

LIsa, when I have some time, I need to come and catch up on your life these past two months! I am thrilled to hear that your baby is here....what wonderful news to read tonight. And you're still homeschooling...I don't know how you do it!
