This month marks our 15th wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe that many years have passed! We decided that a little overnight trip was in order. We actually decided to take two nights away. Thank heavens for a brother and sister-in-law who are also celebrating 15 years this year, and were more than happy to trade babysitting with us.
We didn't go far, just to Park City. At first, I really wanted to go somewhere more unique; it seems like we go to Park City all the time. But you know, Park City just plain has a lot to offer: plenty of choices in hotel rooms, beautiful scenery, slightly less hot summer temperatures, and it's not too far away.
We had a wonderful time staying in a luxury suite, soaking in the adult relaxation pool, shopping, driving around, eating out. Yeah, our kids were jealous! The only hitch was getting all the way to our hotel, opening the car, and realizing that we'd left my suitcase home. We had to drive all the way back to get it.
