Zion

The park, that is.

Sariah kept wondering where the playground was.

Dallin was really hoping that the ranger at the information desk would tell him that yes, it was OK to take rocks out of the park.

Both kids thought that the Weeping Rock was pretty cool (water dripping down the face of a cliff, and you could walk right under it).

Mom actually got her picture taken.

The Temple of Sinewava. A huge circle of cliffs surrounds you on almost all sides. I think it would have felt very sacred if not for the thousands of other people who wanted to see it along with us.

Chillin' at the water's edge. The most fun the kids had the entire day was sitting at the side of the river throwing rocks in the water.
Out of the car: great!
In the car: Not so great. We've added a new word to the "banned vocabulary list" at our house. Chuckhead. Yeah. As in, "You chuckhead!!!" Gotta love it.
We were glad to get home.

I love Zion! It's seriously one of my favorite places on the planet. And you're missing all the snow that fell today...

Well, I'm back for the snow... It makes me wish we'd stayed in St. George, though!
