This is the Valentine's Mailbox Dallin has been decorating for school. Notice there is not anything about that even remotely says, "Valentine's"? When I pointed this out to Dallin, he said that when he wrote his name, he would make the little dot over the "i" into a heart shape.
(Just in case you can't read the small print, he's laboriously writing "BYU" all over the box.)
This.... is the Valentine's card Dallin is making for his teacher. His teacher is a Utes fan, and she and Dallin enjoy bantering back and forth about the merits of their respective teams. Dallin was not impressed when I pointed out to him that the Utes actually have the proper team colors for Valentine's Day.
Inside of the card:

We've informed him that before this gets taken to school, he WILL write some kind of nice message to his teacher telling her how much he likes being in her class, Utes-fandom aside.
