Paintings


Just had to show off the cool watercolor paintings Sariah and I did the other day using wet-on-wet techniques. Mine are on the left, Sariah's are on the right. I'll be doing a post on painting sometime in the next few weeks when the paint I've ordered arrives. (Yep, this is not the stuff that comes in cake form in the little plastic boxes...)

Wait--you mean paint comes in other forms than the cake ones in the boxes? Is it washable?

JK--that's what my kids would be asking since I don't DO paint. Poor them. Except when they come to your house.

Yes, it's washable. It's not really meant for kids, but we haven't had problems. I watch her carefully. Painting is Sariah's favorite activity. This was much more relaxing than when we've used tempera.
