We got a cool thunderstorm tonight. (Though not as cool as the ones I saw in Kansas, or the monsoon storms in Arizona.) But the kids were impressed. I think Dallin actually enjoyed jumping out of his skin every time the emergency broadcast warning buzzed on the TV. Dallin and Sariah decided to build a fort in the family room and hide out there with their emergency food supply (bananas). Hey, at least they were getting along with one another... for awhile. Then Sariah started wrecking the fort--at first by accident and then on purpose when she saw the rise it got out of Dallin. But it was fun while it lasted.
