Here's a rundown of what Sariah "played" between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm today. Like any good 2-year-old, she makes her own fun!
Played in the sink and made bubbles with the dishsoap.
Mopped the floor with the Swiffer. Well, technically sprayed the floor--ALOT, didn't wipe.
Played in the blankets and quilts in her room. Played in them again after Mommy folded them all. Repeated this process several times. Pretended to be sleeping in the blankets.
"Read" books from off of her bookshelf.
Jumped on her bed.
Filled a plastic bag and her little purse with toy animals. Pretended she was taking them to the "docker" (doctor).
Dumped a large amount of flour out of the bucket and onto the kitchen floor and played in it.
"Helped" Mommy sweep up all the flour.
Played trick or treat by bring her purse to Mommy to be filled with pencils and small trinkets.
Played with the computer printer.
Jumped on her bed again with her "Smiley Face Guy" stuffed doll and stuffed red bear.
Played with jewelry and hairbows from the basket on top of her dresser. (Made a huge mess.)
Dumped out all the bath toys, then decided they were too boring to play with.
Soaked her hair and face with hairspray. (And I do mean soaked!)
Sat on the stairs singing and making noises through a wrapping paper tube. Marched around "tooting" through the tube.
Played with a wet washcloth, wiping herself and Mommy, wiping her toy dish.
Practiced putting Dallin's smencil in and out of its case.
Watched TV with Dallin.
Looked at the Dangerous Creatures book with Dallin.
Looked at Dallin's class picture from school. This lasted about 10 minutes. Kept asking, "Who's zat guy?" and "What's that kid?"
Made up a song about all of Dallin's friends. Sung some lusty "Hal-lay-lu-yahs" along with it.
Looked at the Dangerous Creatures book again.
Is anybody else exhausted?
