These require a bit of explanation to enjoy the humor, but here goes:
The counselor in our stake presidency has been using Primary ward conference visits to teach the children a song helping them learn the names of the First Presidency and the apostles. It is sung to the tune of "The Beverly Hillbillies", and each line includes something that distinguishes the apostle being mentioned. The children cannot get enough of the song and beg to sing it over and over and over. Dallin got a bit mixed up, though, as he belted out this line: "Boyd Tom Packer was a football star!"
(Elder Packer, whose middle name is NOT Tom, happened to be a seminary teacher...Joseph B. Wirthlin played football for the University of Utah.)
Sariah has found that unusual names can be a mouthful. Earlier this week, we watched a certain very famous cellist perform at President Obama's inauguration. Today, we were reading a story about babywearing that included a little boy named Gogomo from New Guinea. After we finished the book, Sariah begged to go back and see the page about "Yo Yo Ma".
