Dallin lost his second tooth yesterday. (Well, actually, he worked on pulling it out himself throughout the day, and Daddy finished the job last evening.)
This morning when I got home from an early morning practice session at the church, Dallin met me at the door to show off the Tooth Fairy's gifts. The tooth fairy was extremely generous this time around! Instead of giving 50 cents as she had promised, she gave him his tooth back and left four quarters, one of which was a gold one! Mom and Dad were as shocked as Dallin himself to see that the Tooth Fairy left such an extravagant offering! We actually wonder if there might have accidentally been two Tooth Fairies, each doing her work without the other one knowing. This possibility is made stronger by the fact that the Tooth Fairy left the money in two separate plastic bags. Daddy has told Dallin that he will have to trade the gold quarter in for a plain one, especially since Daddy's gold quarter is missing, and he wonders if the Tooth Fairy might have picked it up by accident.
Dallin now thinks the Tooth Fairy is an even cooler lady than he originally thought she was, if that is possible.
