How soon they learn

Sariah and I were hanging out on the couch tonight watching TV. I realized it was almost 5:00 and said to her, "I'd better go get supper."

Sariah replied, "I do it!"

I said, "You're going to cook dinner?"

"Yes."

"What will you make?", I asked.

"Fry fries, " was her reply.

"French fries? Really? I was going to make chicken enchiladas."

"No!", she insisted. "Fry fries!"

"Are you sure?", I queried once more.

Her final answer: "Hambug! Fry fries!"
