Today was our annual "free tickets from work to Lagoon" day. I'm not a big amusement park kind of a gal, but it is fun to take the kids and see them have a blast. It was cold! It threatened rain for about the first 3.5 hours we were there. We were so glad we brought long pants and jackets for the kids, and I was regretting my choice to wear sandals with no socks. It was still fun, though! Dallin was such a great big brother to take Sariah on all the rides, even some that he himself thought were a bit boring. The sweetest thing in the world is to see the two of them together, having fun. Sariah loved every minute of it! She was not the slightest bit scared--even when I took her on the kiddie roller coaster. She's been talking about the experience ever since we got home. Her words: "Playground! BIG!"
The first time they went on this ride, Sariah saw the elephants and decided they were THE ONES. However, some othe little kids took all the elephants before Dallin and Sariah were able to get one. So they had to settle for a dragon. Luckily, the line was so short that they got to go again, and this time Dumbo was available.
