It's amazing to me that there is something to write about almost every single day! D keeps us constantly entertained with the funny things that come out of his mouth:
"airzone layer" --ozone layer
"Can I have some of that honeydoodle?" --Can I have some honeydew (melon) ?
"you're ignoring me!" --you're annoying me!
"out of balance" --out of bounds
Tonight he asked me, "Mom, have you ever played Dead Man?" He then proceeded to explain to me how to play the game, where one person lays on the floor pretending to be dead and the others count to five, at which point the "dead man" gets up and touches one of the other players. At this point in the explanation he said, "Then whoever gets touched has to lay down--kind of like a nap!" And then he added, "You would like that game."
He does know his mother well! Any game where I can pretend to be asleep (or actually fall asleep!) is my kind of game!
