What does this picture have to do with Mommy Guilt? Well, about 3 days ago, Dallin drew this Color-by-Number in pencil and asked me to fill it in with crayons. For three days, I've postponed it and made excuses why I couldn't do it right then. So this afternoon I came in from heavy labor in the garden to find him coloring it himself. I asked him if he got tired of waiting for me to do it, and he quietly said yes. He didn't even get mad or yell about it, which would have been more typical. Aw, why do I do stuff like this? It would have only taken a moment. And it's a WAY cool drawing! I'm impressed that he thought of making his own Color-by-Number.
